Overall, keeping it simple. We love a little ode to the holidays without overdoing it. A simple strand of Christmas (or twinkle lights), a beautiful wreath, or a Santa hat make for adorable props. In terms of holiday cards – we predict that this season will be big on references to shelter in place and being at home! We LOVE designing holiday cards and coming up with a range of ideas for our clients. Our favorites are the cute but witty cards!

While Michaela is an expert at helping everyone be comfortable and confident in-front of a camera, she shared some tips with us on getting ready for your holiday shoots that will take the stress away.
Our look is simple, classic, timeless etc. We want to create art that transcends time, but holiday photoshoots are the big exception. Texture in photos is HUGE! When in doubt, a chunky knit sweater will translate beautifully in a photograph – which is PERFECT for winter weather. Try to stay away from bold patterns though since they tend to distract from the main focus of the shot – you!
